Our value addition process is built around respect for people and the environment. We engage in fair trade and careful consideration of the impact of our activities on society and therefore respect for people and environment. Our partners in the process are sensitized to operate ethically. We do this as a strategy towards ethical certifications, seeing that this has become a crucial factor in food production. Our integrated approach to sustainability tries to take the interests of all our partners – our growers, local communities, our employees, customers, society and the community – into account as best as we can. In addition, and in line with our quest for sustainable production, we ensure that our farmers’ workers operate in proper working conditions, devoid of child labour, worker mistreatment, poor or delayed payments and many other actions that conflict with sustainable production.
